Several organizations in Akwa Ibom are dedicated to supporting persons with disabilities. These organizations work toward raising awareness, providing resources, and advocating for policies that enhance the quality of life for individuals with disabilities. focus on issues such as access to education, employment opportunities, health care, and social inclusion.

We have established ourselves in all the local government areas of Àkwa Ibom State, with sectional leaders that reports to state executive monthly.

The Nigerian government has made some strides in enacting policies and laws aimed at protecting the rights of persons with disabilities. The Persons with Disabilities (Prohibition) Act of 2018 is an important piece of legislation, although its implementation at the state level varies.
